A Big Thank You to Every VIP!

The backbone that makes Celebration stand tall is not the Sunday pulpit or music pit.  Both of these frontline ministries, the sword and the song, are crucial as we set out to help people win in life.  But it should be clear to everyone that preaching and music couldn't happen without the equally dynamic organizational support supplied by hundreds of committed volunteers.

The same is true for body life at Celebration.  Ministry in homes, the market place, schools, neighborhood centers, and the work place all happen as men and women sacrifice time, talent and treasure to bless the communities we serve with the love of God in Christ Jesus.

When I stand to preach on Sundays I am mindful about what it takes to pull off three worship services in the WIN Center, three Celebration City encounters - our children's Church, youth discipleship training, and several other ministry initiatives every week.  Well over 100 volunteers give their time and energy to Christ through the outreach of Celebration.  In addition, hundreds more are a part of our ministry efforts every Monday through Saturday.  It would not be possible to do all that God has called us to do without soldiers like you.  THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.  The VIP's of this congregation are the army of volunteers who give of themselves with joy to the Lord's ministry through Celebration so that we can reach one more for Jesus.

My summer of 2012 prayer for all of our volunteers VIP team is that you would continue to be empowered to use your God given S.H.A.P.E. to expand the Kingdom of God.  As you serve, may you be overtaken by our Lord's abundance of grace and gift of righteousness.  Thanks again for all you do in the trenches of ministry at Celebration.  Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
